The DDAA's 2016 annual conference focused on how the federal Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative can help Appalachia's coal-impacted communities forge new economic paths; and on creative financial models communities are using to attract capital to the Appalachian Region. The conference offered several sessions held jointly with NADO, including a federal agency networking reception with more than 20 participating agencies.
