Legislative Update: President Signs Legislation Extending Government Funding through December 8 September 2017

On September 8, President Donald Trump signed into law a continuing resolution (H.R.601�Continuing Appropriations Act, 2018 and Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Requirements Act, 2017) that funds the operations of government programs, including ARC, through December 8. The bill continues the Commission�s funding at the FY 2017 annual level of $152 million through that date, minus a small across-the-board reduction. ARC programs and activities funded through the legislation are the same as those funded through the agency�s FY 2017 appropriation.
