Appalachian Higher Education (AHE) Network members attending the network's spring 2016 meeting learned about Broader, Bolder Approach to Education, a national initiative to advance evidence-based strategies to mitigate the impacts of poverty-related disadvantages on teaching and learning. Members also had the opportunity to participate in the Education Policy Fellowship Program's 2016 Washington policy seminar, "Presidential Politics and Education Policy."
