Two Grant Opportunities Available to New and Existing Local Diabetes Coalitions in West VirginiaOctober 2013 |
The Marshall University Center for Rural Health is soliciting applications from diabetes coalitions in 23 eligible West Virginia counties for two funding opportunities. The funding opportunities are provided in partnership with ARC, the West Virginia Development Office, the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation's Together on Diabetes initiative, and the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.
The eligibility criteria and application process are outlined in the application guide (PDF: 90 KB). As noted in the guide, Marshall University will host a conference call on Friday, October 18, at noon EST to review the application guidelines and answer questions.
Applications for both funding opportunities are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013. Awardees will be announced in December.
