On November 27, researchers from the University of Tennessee held a webinar to review the ARC-sponsored research study
Strategies for Economic Improvement in Appalachia's Distressed Rural Counties. Based on the experiences of ten representative counties, the study examines the challenges to economic and community development efforts in rural Appalachian communities and the ways in which local governments, agencies, and community organizations are responding.
