Two New Grant Opportunities Available to Local Diabetes Coalitions in Appalachia

The Appalachian Diabetes Control and Translation Project (ADCTP), a partnership between ARC, the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Marshall University's Center for Rural Health, is offering grants of $40,000 a year for four years (up to $160,000 total) for diabetes coalitions ready to expand their efforts to help prevent and manage diabetes in Appalachia. A separate grant opportunity, for training grants of $5,000–$7,000, is available to local health departments and their community partners through the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
