ARC Partners with the Appalachian Studies Association

August 2009

In July ARC and the Appalachian Studies Association signed a memorandum of understanding formalizing a partnership in which the two organizations will collaborate on projects pertaining to the Appalachian Region and share news, research, and information when appropriate. The Appalachian Studies Association, created in 1977, works to broaden understanding of the Appalachian Region by promoting dialogue, research, education, creative expression, and action among scholars, educators, activists, groups, and institutions. It is located at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
