Legislative Update: Senate Approves ARC FY 2004 Funding Legislation September 2003

The U.S. Senate approved its version of the fiscal year 2004 energy and water development appropriations bill on September 16, 2003. The legislation includes $71.1 million for the Appalachian Regional Commission's nonhighway programs. A conference to reconcile differences between the Senate and House appropriations bills is pending.
